A complete interior architecture project in Long Island, the Everit Residence involved the full transformation of a 6,000-square-foot family home. The brief asked for a home that felt both refined and liveable — one that could accommodate a young family without sacrificing the sense of considered luxury the clients admired.
Studio RB stripped the interior back to structure and reimagined every room. A new staircase became the home’s centrepiece: open treads in white oak, a floating steel frame, and a wall of architectural panelling rising the full height of the double-volume entry. Materials throughout were chosen for their texture and permanence — honed stone, smoked oak millwork, and plaster walls that reward close attention.
